Mark Langley next President and CEO of Project Management Institute (PMI)

Project Management Institute (PMI) announces that its Board of Directors has named Mark A. Langley as its new president and CEO upon Gregory Balestrero’s retirement from PMI on 1 January 2011.

“The Board chose Mark Langley for his keen strategic insights regarding building member and organization value, formulating and leading operational vision, strategy and direction, and for his energy and passion for project management,” said Eugene Bounds, PMP, chair of PMI’s Board of Directors. “He will build on the Board’s overall strategic direction and provide executive leadership to advance PMI as the largest and most influential project management association.”
